Simply Imagine A Better Brand
Challenge
We were commissioned to develop an exciting new digital experience website for Sottini (a luxury bathroom supplier) that would act as the heart of their rebrand, inspiring and driving to purchase.
We had a new brand positioning, 'Simply imagine', a powerful creative call to action that encapsulated their unique focus on craft and creativity and an elegant range of understated timeless designs. The challenge was to bring this to life online, and help differentiate them in an increasingly competitive marketplace, reach more of their target audience and support their commercial objectives.
Insight
Affluent consumers, retailers and interior designers weren’t comfortable parting with large sums without first getting their hands on the product. With this in mind we needed to create an online showroom that inspired, sold product stories and led to purchase in-store.
Solution
The brand was known both for its excellence in function and elegance in form, so anything we did had to reflect this coupling. At every stage we ensured that functional product was coupled with inspirational imagery and narrative so that the duality of ‘simply Imagine’ always shone through.
As with all showrooms, the product is the king. With this in mind the UI needed to be minimal and compliment the beautiful imagery. Proxima Nova was used as the key font due to its elegance and simple geometric shapes, colours other than black were reduced to accent or action colours and flourishes were added through subtle interaction design.
